MARCO VALERIO PUGINI is the President of Panorama Films, established in 1997 in partnership with Ute Leonhardt, folding together two of his former companies, Panorama Productions (1989) and Produzioni Corsare (1996). With these companies Pugini developed and line produced the feature film I Giardini dell’Eden and completed more than one hundred jobs, including Jane Champion’s The portrait of a lady, for companies based around the world.
His latest credits include the Series Rome for HBO (Co-executive Producer) and Spike Lee’s Miracle at St. Anna (Executive Producer). President of the Italian Association of Production Service Companies, member of the European Film Academy, of the Accademia del Cinema Italiano and tutor in several European training courses (MEGA, EAVE, Production Value etc.).
UTE LEONHARDT began her career in 1985 at Praxis Film Works, Los Angeles working in Visual FX. In 1989 she joined Propaganda Films as Head of Post Production, supervising projects such as Wild at Heart, Twin Peaks, Beverly Hills 90210. In 1991 Leonhardt became associate producer of the series of short films for Michael Jackson’s Dangerous album, working with directors including John Landis, David Lynch and David Fincher. In 1995 she worked as Associate Producer on Jane Campion’s The Portrait of a Lady before moving to Rome and joining forces with Marco Valerio Pugini as co-owner and Vice President of Panorama Films. Since then Leonhardt has line produced numerous feature films, TV and commercials.

Panorama focuses on the production service of international features, television projects and commercials as well as developing, producing and co-producing Italian and European feature film projects. Panorama is headed by Marco Valerio Pugini and Ute Leonhardt.
They recently produced PA-RA-DA, the multiple award winning feature film by Marco Pontecorvo. Previous international co-productions include My House in Umbria, Golden Globe nominee for best TV movie and winner of Emmy and PGA awards and Katja’s Adventure, a feature film for children and winner of several specialized awards.
